Some people still regard cheap car insurance with suspicion today, believing that they are missing out on certain areas of regular policies that we generally take for granted. In most circumstances this is a completely wrong assumption. Most cheap car insurance policies come from reputable providers and do not have areas of cover missing but there is apparently one that is missing fom a third of all policies. That area is misfuelling.

Thousands of drivers still misfuel their car every year, although the incidence of it has gone down since most cars on the road are no longer running on leaded petrol. However, we all know how easy it is to make a mistake every now and again but filling your car with the wrong petrol could be an expensive mistake. A new engine if often required but you would have to take on the bil if you are not covered so check your policy now to be on the safe side.
